The book im readin is called day of reockoning.Its about columbine and waht happened how it affected people.The characters are dylan and eric and the victums.I would not recoment this book unless your really religiuos because that wat this book about.It takes place in littelton calirado.One reason i would not recommend this book is because its all about religion.Another reason y is because its mostly about the recovery to and the third is it talks about the arguments more than anything.

♣♠On page 138 of the book called Day of reckoning The auther writes "healing on the inside,for most,was less measurable,and-on one level-more complicated." This is an important quote because everyone can relate to it some how and they can know what it means.They can relate through a fight or a death a wound or even a friend stabbing them in the back. Every one knows what the quote means just depends on how long it takes to understand it.♠♣
♣♠On page 130 the auther wrote "They did it because they were consumed with hate."This is important because this helps a little to understand why.♠♣
♣♠On page 140 The auther write somthing somone says in a speech"WE ARE COLUMBINE, WE ARE COLUMBINE, WE ARE COLUMBINE." I thought this was important because after all they hav been through they are still strong.♠♣

things i would change in my book

I would change what the officers did about the death threats.I would change this aspect because, if they would have investagated the house for plans or stuff like that to kill somone they would havw found the guns and bombs.Eric harris was not old enough to own a gun.LOet alone a whole arsonal.If they would have serched the house they would have found all that stuff and probably some incriminating evidence of Dylan Klebold.Then they would have had been out in prison for alot of reasons....................................The massacure would have never happened

how the friends and family felt reminds me of how i felt when i found out my brother had apendicites.When my mom told me that his apendix could explode at any moment and kill him,i tried to imagen life without him.in the book there was an assembly and the principle said to look at the person on either side of you. Then he said imagen life without them.The connection helps me understand how they felt at the assembly.

On a scale from 0 to 10 i give this book a 4. I thought this book would be about what happened at columbine. Instead its about one thing the killers said"Do you believe in god?" It is very drawn out and not interesting at all. It does a good job pulling you in but after that you feel chained to a train that keeps runnin in to the same rock.I wouldnt tell anyone to read this book.

The setting of this book is a coulpe weeks after april 20,1999. Columbine was a very big school with lots of students,the school is very diverse. Everyone that got shot there was religeouse or was a jock.
